Written Quote
A clear, per-window quote — no guesswork, nothing ordered until you've signed off. Some orientation while you wait for it: work on these stands falls between R1,000 and R7,500 per square metre installed, according to the product and whether it is motorised. Small windows carry a minimum charge, and the exact figure only exists once the measure is done.

Made for one opening, on one stand
Inanda Blinds is a made-to-measure shading service covering Inanda and the streets that run into it — Atholl, Bryanston, Hyde Park and Sandhurst. Roller blinds, external venetian blinds, folding-arm awnings and motorised control are all manufactured to the sizes taken at the property. Nothing is stock and nothing is adjusted on the day to make a standard size fit an opening it was not built for.
The sequence is short and it does not change. You get in touch through the form or the chat, and one of our expert consultants will contact you shortly to arrange a free in-home measure. On that visit every window is measured on site and the options are talked through facade by facade, because a wall facing the paddock and a wall facing the driveway are not the same problem. A written quote follows with a price against each window, and nothing is ordered until you have signed it off. Each piece is then made to that exact opening and fitted by the team who measured it.

Do exterior blinds and awnings need to suit an estate's architectural guidelines?
Many Inanda properties sit within an estate or carry HOA-style design rules. We talk finish and colour through with you before anything is ordered, and can supply spec sheets if your estate committee needs to sign off.
Is motorisation really necessary on a paddock-facing wall of glass?
Once a run of glass gets wide, a chain becomes impractical to operate day to day. Motorised control is the practical answer — and often the only sensible one — with a single remote or app running a whole wall at once.
What happens to an awning or external blind in a highveld thunderstorm?
Motorised exterior products are fitted with a wind sensor that auto-retracts before gusts build. That's the responsible spec for anything mounted outside, not an optional extra.
Are the blinds safe with children and pets around?
Cordless, motorised or properly tensioned chain operation is used as standard across the range — no dangling cords left within reach.
Do you fit homestead-style homes as well as contemporary architect builds?
Yes. Timber venetians suit a homestead-style facade, while concealed recess and external venetian systems suit a contemporary glass build. The free measure visit is where we match the product to the actual window.
